Becoming a Member
There are two types of Guild membership: associate membership and voting membership.
Associate members are individuals who have found value in the work of the Guild and wish to learn more about that work and perhaps volunteer for a committee or working group, or to serve as a committee person or coordinator for a seminar. (There are always plenty of opportunities--as a largely volunteer organization the Guild depends on its members.)
Members pay $25.00 annual dues and receive a subscription to the Guild's monthly newsletter, The Threshing Floor. Members also have access to the "Resources for Members" section of this Web site, which includes back issues of The Threshing Floor , minutes of Board meetings, and other documents of interest to Guild members.
Any interested person can become an associate member. Individuals who have been (or are) significant contributors to the Guild such as through serving on committees or working groups can apply to become Voting Members. Voting membership must be approved by the Board and includes the right to vote in elections for the Board. Voting members also pay the $25.00 annual dues and receive The Threshing Floor.
